Are you a videographer with a passion for creating great images, the craft of lighting design, and working with interesting people on a variety of podcasts? Podhead Studios is expanding, and we're looking for a driven, personable, and professional Podcast Videographer with a keen eye to join our team!

We provide creators, influencers, and businesses with state-of-the-art recording spaces, professional-grade crew and equipment, and an inspiring environment to bring their ideas to life. Whether it's podcasting, video production, or creative content creation, we help our clients deliver high-quality work with ease.

What you’ll do

• Compose and frame shots for podcast content and other video concepts
• Position light units and modifiers to create dramatic lighting styles and looks
• Dial in camera exposure settings and focus
• Operate multi-cam switcher and live edit
• Maintain safe cable placement and camera connections through video switcher
• Collaborate with clients to discover their creative goals and deliver images to represent them
• Maintain and organize studio camera and lighting department equipment

Qualifications

• Videography/Cinematography experience and a keen eye for creating images
• Gaffing experience and knowledge of studio lighting design and techniques
• Able to make informed choices for framing, camera placement, eyelines, lensing, and the ability to produce matching reverse shot angles
• Familiarity with Blackmagic Cameras and Live Switchers preferred.
• Knowledge of how to safely work with lighting equipment
• Friendly set demeanor to collaborate with podcast guests and hosts

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 24 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• On call
• Weekends as needed
