Job Summary/Description:

Do you enjoy telling weather stories with the most advanced tools available? This is a market where weather is often - The Big Story. WLBT in Jackson, MS, is looking for a Meteorologist to join the largest weather team in the state. The ideal candidate would have some professional experience demonstrating how they can visually communicate the most important story of the day.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Present weather information across all platforms
• Live weather reports from the studio and the field
• Active social media engagement

Qualifications/Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in Meteorology or Atmospheric Science is preferred
• Education, training, or experience in Broadcast Journalism
• Flexibility in schedule
