Hotel Food and Beverage Cast Members bring the Magic of Disney Dining to our Resort Hotels. Cast Members are responsible for greeting Guests with a smile, escorting them to their seats while sharing dining information, collecting payment for purchases, and assisting Guests with questions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide over the top Guest Service to all Guests
- Check in Guests into the restaurant and gather information on special events, celebrations, and food allergies
- Escort Guests to their tables, sharing restaurant and dining information along the way
- Bus tables, sweep and mop floor, collect and transport dirty trays/dishes, and perform general cleaning of restaurant areas
- Monitor restaurant lobby and coordinate with serving and leadership to maximize efficiency and minimize wait times for Guests
- Retrieve high-chairs, slings and booster seats as needed.
- Take orders for Guests in quick service locations, including accepting payment and cash handling. Be responsible for a cashier’s fund
- Deliver food orders to guests in dining areas
- Utilize iPads, tablets, computers and other technology to monitor Guest flow and make seating assignments
Basic Qualifications:
- You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role
- 1+ years of high-end table service restaurant experience as a host, server, busser, etc.
- 1+ years of high-volume restaurant experience
- 1+ years of cash handling experience
- 1+ years of bussing or cleaning
- Willing to take initiative to actively greet and welcome Guests
- Knowledge of food presentation and quality standards
- Demonstrated excellent Guest Service and service recovery abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Sense of urgency and desire to work efficiently without sacrificing quality
- Ability to multi-task and work in a very fast paced environment
- Initiative to own and resolve Guest situations
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years high end restaurant work experience
- Alcohol Awareness Training (i.e. RVP, TIPS or equivalent)
- 1+ years in a 4/5 Star Hotel or Resort
Additional Information:
SCHEDULE AVAILABILITYOur Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Scheduling will require availability to work weekends, holidays, and have a flexible schedule when business requires.

The pay rate for this role in California is $20.42 per hour.
