Virtual Production Producer / Account Manager

Job Description:

The Virtual Production Account Manager / Producer is responsible for developing and managing client relationships, driving business development, and overseeing operational execution for Virtual Production projects. This hybrid role combines consultative selling, strategic business development, and hands-on client services within a fast-paced virtual production studio environment.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

• Identify and engage potential clients for virtual production projects.
• Proactively market virtual production capabilities, highlighting the creative and technical advantages for brand, commercial, and entertainment projects.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, and bids for new and existing clients in conjunction with Virtual Production Coordinator.
• Arrange and lead meetings, presentations, and workshops to demonstrate virtual production services along with the Head of Virtual Production and Virtual Production Supervisor based on client/prospect need.
• Develop revenue models and work with the Marketing Department to create sales enablement tools, marketing materials, and demonstrations for new business lines.
• Attend industry trade shows to identify leads and maintain industry presence.
• Recommend and execute marketing strategies to reach target markets.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities and provide regular reporting to management.

Client Relationship Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients from initial inquiry through project delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, studios, networks, and partners.
• Provide a high level of customer service, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the virtual production process.
• Liaise with clients on-site during production to ensure needs are met and issues are resolved promptly.
• Collaborate closely with creative, technical, and operational teams to translate client objectives into successful virtual production workflows.

Project Oversight

• Oversee and contribute to the development of service offerings related to operating virtual production studios.
• Ensure smooth operational execution for virtual production shoots, helping in managing logistics, schedules, and resources as needed.
• Handle special projects at the request of virtual production leadership.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in Commercial Production and client relations.
• Demonstrated experience in client-facing roles, sales, or account management.
• Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot is a plus.
• Commercially astute, self-motivated, and highly organized.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across creative, technical, and business teams.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Nice to Have

• Strong knowledge of virtual production pipelines and workflows.
• Extensive understanding of camera, lighting, and virtual production technology.
• Experience in Virtual Production, broadcast, film production, or related industries.

Compensation

• Target Salary: $100,000 to $120,000 base, based on experience, plus bonus.
• Target Start Date: August/September, 2025 (or as agreed)
