ABOUT THE ROLE
Our VP, Client Partnerships & Agency Development will be responsible for driving strategic partnerships across media, marketing, content, digital, experiential, creative, and PR agency and holding company clients. Reporting into the Chief Revenue Officer, this role will be tasked to identify strategic opportunities, build strong partnerships, and ultimately drive revenue growth by aligning the company’s services with the needs of agencies and their clients. This position requires a demonstrable expertise in client management, business development, social, experiential, content, creative and industry trends, because it will be instrumental in expanding Tribeca’s agency network and maximizing its revenue potential. The VP’s core function requires working closely with internal stakeholders to develop go-to-market strategies that help promote Tribeca Enterprises as an ideal platform for brands to engage new audiences via live events and commercial production.
ABOUT YOU
Our ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of partnerships in the live events, experiential, content, and media space. They will have extensive experience working with both client direct and agencies with an established roster of existing relationships. The selected candidate must demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit with exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills. Crucially, they will understand how to foster long-term partnerships with clients and agencies. Additionally, they should possess a strategic mindset and the ability to identify new business opportunities and adapt to evolving market dynamics.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with media, marketing, creative, content, experiential, and PR agencies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for client and agency partners, understanding their business objectives, and tailoring solutions to meet their needs.
- Collaborate closely with client and agency partners to identify opportunities for collaboration and mutual growth.
- Ensure regular communication and follow-up to provide exceptional customer service and foster long-term partnerships.
- Create a long-term revenue growth plan.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within agencies, striving to increase revenue and expand market share.
- Conduct thorough market research and stay up-to-date with industry trends to identify emerging opportunities and potential partners.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to engage and win new agency clients, leveraging your understanding of their pain points and business objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.
- Oversee the successful execution of client projects and campaigns, ensuring client satisfaction and driving repeat business.
- Monitor and analyze key metrics to measure the effectiveness of partnerships and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that align with agency goals and objectives.
- Act as a strategic advisor to partners, providing insights and recommendations to drive their business forward.
- Attend industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings to represent Tribeca Enterprises and develop relationships with key stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape within the media, marketing, experiential, and PR agency space.
- Share industry insights and thought leadership with internal teams and agency partners to foster collaboration and drive innovation.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities, enhancing brand visibility and building relationships.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or similar field.
- Minimum of eight to ten (8-10) years of sales experience in the advertising, media, or entertainment industry, with a focus on developing client partnerships.
- Have an in-depth knowledge of brand development and multichannel marketing.
- Experience making tactical decisions and guiding investments based on long-term plans and contemporary factors.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth within a competitive marketplace.
- Extensive network of contacts and relationships with advertising and marketing clients & agencies, with a deep understanding of their business needs and challenges.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and value propositions clearly and convincingly.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, able to identify and seize opportunities to drive business growth.
- Prior work with festivals, conferences, live events or branded content a plus.
SALARY: $150,000-200,000
