The Director of Marketing and Partnerships will partner with Center Staff, Board members, committees and community partners to hold ourselves accountable for the investment that our Stakeholders, Benefactors, Local, County and State governments have made in the Center to activate arts education and cultural arts experiences. Our goals are to expand perspective and communication strategies, develop artistic skills, build connections, and create an overall positive experience exploring cultural arts.
The Director of Marketing and Partnerships reports to the Executive Director and works closely with Board Members, MAD Arts (or marketing partners), community partners, donors, mentors and advocates.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with the Center’s marketing and design partner, MAD Studios and PT in-house designer to develop concepts to promote events and programs.
· Coordinate with department and program leads to develop content and images needed for multimedia needs including signage, monthly e-newsletters and promotional communications.
· Assist when needed with basic updates on website, social media and other multimedia platforms (Eventbrite, NeonOne, etc)
· Manage an existing pipeline of partnership opportunities with corporate, foundation, individual and public partners to support Center events and programs.
· Oversee identification. cultivation, solicitation strategies, proposals and agreement templates.
· Develop and maintain relationships to secure funding for projects, events, programs, organizational capacity building and capital improvements.
· Schedule meetings with funders to advocate support of programs that connect to their priorities and develop customized sponsorship and proposal packages to secure support and meet partner community goals.
· Solicit funders through a variety of methods and outreach to corporate partners, individuals and foundations.
· Maintain and track the pipeline of opportunities, conduct research, engage in networking and effective follow up.
· Oversee partner requirements and deliverables such as marketing metrics, testimonials, reports, etc. Work with the Programs team to ensure data is collected and reports are delivered.
· Develop and implement recognition programs that are of interest and value to supporting Members, partners, including event attendance, awards, and recognition.
· Manage Signature Event Committees and lead the design and production teams.
· Other duties as needed – agency wide fundraising events and recruitment.
Education Level, Knowledge and Work Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree is required with a marketing, design or applicable focus.
· 5 years minimum experience with large scale event productions, marketing and major donor ($10K/+) solicitations.
· 4-year performing arts degree.

· Must pass a Level 2 background check
· A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle is required
This is a full-time position. Our office is located at 1650 Harrison Street Hollywood, FL 33020 and our business hours are M-F 9:00 am - 5:00 pm from June 1 – August 31 and Tu-F 8:00 am – 6:00pm from September 1 – May 31. We have a flexible work schedule and occasional nights and weekends are required to activate programs, events, and special projects.
Minimal physical requirements to include walking, standing, occasional lifting, sitting at workstation and ability to move about to support theater activities.
