Job Summary:

The pay rate for this role in Florida is $17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • We proactively engage with Guest and address needs by answering questions, giving directions and providing other information about the theme park or surrounding areas
  • We provide Guest Service when problems arise and help find solutions with Guests and Cast Members
  • We communicate Safety and Park & Resort information to small and large crowds, and take ownership in emergency situations.
  • We partner with Catering, Entertainment, Culinary, Park Events, Resorts and many other areas, and communicate using radios and smart devices.
  • We are responsible for escorting Guests through on-stage and backstage locations, keeping them on scheduling and following an event agenda.
  • We perform administrative duties using a variety of computer systems.
  • We process Guest orders accurately through a point-of-sale system (POS register), including; counting money, making change, and processing credit card transactions
  • We work with and around all foods and food allergens, including but not limited to beef, pork, poultry, fish, shellfish, gluten, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, egg and dairy products.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid Driver’s license
  • Passion for and knowledge of the Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts
  • Prolong standing and walking, including climbing stairs, in indoor and outdoor environment and all weather conditions
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Able to multitask under high pressure situations while maintaining a safety focus
  • Demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills
  • Follow all department policies/procedures and service guarantees
  • Additional Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.) may be required
  • Cast Members may be required to handle cleaning chemicals and supplies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays is preferred.
  • Part-Time requires full availability for any shift, a MINIMUM of three (3) days per week, including nights and holidays

Additional Information:

SCHEDULE AVAILABILTY Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.
