Job Description

Staffing agency seeking an entry level temporary Accounting Clerk for their client, a top entertainment company in Los Angeles. This is an in-person role. Only candidates local to Los Angeles area will be considered. All candidates must have previous accounting experience.  


Duties include, but are not limited to:


-A/R

-Set up new vendors

-Preparing reports, data entry, copying, filing, scanning, etc.

-Provide Administrative support to the dept

-Answer incoming calls

-Answer and compose emails

-Other duties and special projects as needed


Requirements and skills:


-Bachelor's degree (accounting, finance, math, business preferred)

-Minimum 1 to 2 years' experience doing accounting (accounting internships considered)

-Excellent computer skills, MS Office, Outlook, especially with strong Microsoft Excel skills

-Highly organized, strong attention to detail, and effective follow through

-An ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing, tracking and entering information

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills

-Effective problem solver

-Team player and able to communicate effectively with all levels of the company

-Detail oriented, accurate, and must have strong math skills

-Excellent references


This is a temp opportunity.


Salary:  $20.00 / hour to $21.00 / hour DOE as a Temp
