HollyShorts Film Festival - Volunteer

August 8th - August 20th, 2024

We are looking for a small group of volunteers to assist with the execution of the 20th Annual HollyShorts Film Festival, August 8th-18th. The HollyShorts Film Festival is an Academy Award®-qualifying independent short film festival located in Hollywood, California. The team will need assistance with on-site activity during the ten-day festival in August, with tasks including filmmaker check-ins, crowd control, food running, and talent liaising.

Applicants must be LA-Based. Note that we will pay for on-site meals and parking during the festival.

What You'll Do:

- Ticketing / organize the attendees list (leading up to the festival)

- Set-up and break-down (on-site)

- Greet and assist filmmakers/attendees (on-site)

What You'll Need:

Friendly and respectful demeanor

Professional communication skills both written and verbal

Passionate eye for high-quality filmmaking
