Bingewatch is a media studio producing bold, fast-moving film and TV magazines, short-form content, and editorial photo/video shoots. We fuse storytelling, culture, and aesthetic with a distinct visual identity.
The Role:
We’re seeking a Junior Set Designer to support our editorial shoots, social campaigns, and filmed segments. You’ll assist with visual concepting, sourcing, fabrication, and styling—bringing compact, high-impact sets to life across a variety of formats.
Responsibilities:
– Assist in designing and executing mini-sets for photo + video shoots
– Source props, fabrics, furniture, plants, backdrops, and set décor
– Collaborate with creative director and editorial team on moodboards + visual tone
– Help manage build days, load-ins, and strike
– Track rentals, purchases, and returns
– Maintain tidy storage of reusable set pieces
– Occasionally assist with styling and art direction on set
You Are:
– Creative, resourceful, and obsessed with visuals
– Comfortable working under budget and time constraints
– Hands-on: can source, paint, hang, rig, and style
– Familiar with moodboarding tools, prop houses, and set supply vendors
– Based in LA and able to work in person on location or at studio
Requirements:
– 1 year of relevant experience (art dept, design school, editorial production, etc.)
– Strong eye for color, texture, and detail
– Flexible schedule to support build/shoot days
