Animator/Designer

Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Animator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for bringing characters and stories to life through animation. This role involves collaborating with other artists and developers to create high-quality animations for various projects, including games, films, and multimedia presentations. The Animator will be responsible for ensuring that animations are visually appealing, fluid, and aligned with the overall artistic vision of the project.

Duties

• Create engaging character animations that enhance storytelling and gameplay experiences.
• Utilize software such as Mudbox and Unity to develop 2D and 3D animations.
• Collaborate with the design team to understand project requirements and artistic direction.
• Edit video content to integrate animations seamlessly into final products.
• Apply color theory principles to ensure animations are visually cohesive.
• Implement scripting techniques in C# to enhance animation functionality within game engines.
• Maintain an understanding of anatomy knowledge to create realistic movements and expressions.
• Work with Unreal Engine for high-quality rendering of animated sequences.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute innovative ideas for animation projects.

Skills
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

• Proficiency in character animation techniques.
• Experience with Mudbox for character modeling and texturing.
• Strong video editing skills to refine animated sequences.
• Knowledge of 2D animation principles and techniques.
• Understanding of color theory to enhance visual storytelling.
• Familiarity with C# scripting for game development applications.
• Solid anatomy knowledge to inform realistic character movements.
• Experience with scripting within Unity or Unreal Engine for interactive animations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,244.00 - $110,052.00 per year
