Staff Accountant

POSITION: STAFF ACCOUNTANT

LOCATION: SAN ANTONIO, TX

HOURS: FULL TIME

COMPENSATION: COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join the ATG North America Finance Team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful management team in a unique industry. This position will strengthen the existing accounting department and will report directly to the Controller.

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform Concert, Theatrical, and Other Event Accounting
  • Reconcile Event settlements
  • Research and correct variances
  • Post accruals and adjusting entries
  • Update schedules (sales tax, royalties)
  • Assist with Balance Sheet Reconciliations, sales postings as needed
• Provide support for external audit requirements
• Work with management to continually improve accounting processes and procedures
• Participate in special projects as required
• COVID vaccination and a commitment to COVID-safe practices are required

EXPERIENCE and SKILLS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Bonus points for cost accounting experience
• Proficient software skills, advanced Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work overtime as needed as deadlines require
