Intellectual Property Group, a literary management company based in Los Angeles, seeks remote for-credit interns for the Summer of 2025.

IPG's clients and source material have been responsible for such current, past and upcoming TV hits as BIG LITTLE LIES, BOARDWALK EMPIRE, BOSCH, CRIMINAL MINDS, THE EXPANSE and THE WHEEL OF TIME. And on the film side: THE BOOK THIEF, CASINO ROYALE, CRASH, THE DESCENDANTS, FERDINAND, LIFE OF PI, MILLION DOLLAR BABY, THE WOLF OF WALL STREET and many more. IPG represents high profile screenwriters/authors, such as Clive Barker (Hellraiser), Michael Connelly (Bosch), Liane Moriarty (Big Little Lies), Ron Stallworth (BlacKkKlansman), and James SA Corey (The Expanse).

Internship Description: This is an engaging, educational opportunity for interns looking for experience in the entertainment industry. This remote internship is primarily reading/coverage intensive. Interns will read and provide detailed coverage for books, screenplays, teleplays, stage plays, and articles with an eye toward adaptation to Film and TV and representation of clients. Opportunities to learn more about the industry and ask questions to assistants and managers will be provided via intern Zoom call sessions. Some light administrative work and research may be requested (helping to create and curate tracking grids, etc), and tutorials and explanations about industry practices will be provided by assistants and coordinators. This is a great opportunity for those interested in development, literary management, and for aspiring writers.

This internship is a particularly good fit for avid readers with strong writing skills, who want a deeper look into how books become films/tv shows, and the representation process for authors, screen writers, and directors.
