Job Summary/Description:

Join the award-winning creative team at KMOV! We're looking for a talented and experienced Video Editor who possesses a strong foundation in post-production and motion graphics to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing short and long-form content. This role requires attention to detail, working as part of a team, and strong post-production skills, including motion graphics, color, and sound design.

Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Edit and assemble raw footage into polished commercials, promotions, and long-form projects
  • Collaborate with producers and other creative team members to create engaging video pieces for various platforms.
  • Manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and consistency.
  • Stay current with industry trends in video editing, motion graphics, and marketing to implement new techniques and tools.
  • Optimize ideas and video content while following winning trends in brand marketing

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to elevate any project
  • Working effectively within the team, conveying ideas clearly, and fostering an environment of open and constructive feedback.
  • The ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines, and ensure the efficient execution of projects.
  • Thriving in a cross-functional team environment, actively contributing to the goals of the Creative Services Department
  • 3-7 years in video editing and motion graphics, with a portfolio showcasing a range of video projects.
  • Proficiency in video editing with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Film, Communications, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
