JOB DESCRIPTION:
The cross-platform Sales Planner supports the Director of Media Planning and a team of dynamic Account Executives as they build and execute advertising campaigns across Offscript's media platforms. The planner also evaluates their success through reporting. Success in this role requires a skilled communicator, strategist, and analyst. You'll collaborate with several teams and workgroups within the Offscript umbrella. Your goal will be to develop and manage media plans and campaigns to help achieve client and company business goals. Candidates for this position are comfortable in the creation and negotiation of digital sales proposals with some knowledge and background of linear television.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, client solutions, and ad operations teams to ensure the successful launch and execution of campaigns
- Provide a data-driven rationale for a digital media mix, budget allocation by medium, expected performance, pricing, and return on investment
- Execute linear, site-direct media buying, and programmatic media buying
- Steward media buys through their complete lifecycle: from negotiation to post-buy analysis
- Guide the conversation between sales and client partners as you work to understand needs, objectives, and requirements for a successful ad buy
- Manage workload and multi-task based on the sales team's needs and internal deadlines.
- Provide account maintenance with current media plans and exercise good judgment to manage linear make-goods and pre-emptions process
- Manage projects by communicating directly with stakeholders, advising on timelines, executing requests, and responding promptly
- Prioritize projects, adjust workflow, and update the department during scheduled meetings
- Monitor overall digital campaign pacing and performance across channels
- Assist with special projects as necessary
Who You Are:
- BA or BS degree preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Working knowledge of basic media concepts, terminology, media math, and media plan execution
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, Keynote, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity in campaign reporting and analytics from client systems (i.e., DCM, Innovid, Nielsen, Sizmek, etc.) is a plus but not required.
- Experience with front-end sales and traffic systems (i.e., WideOrbit, MediaOcean (Prisma), Operative) is a plus but not required.
- Skilled in organizing and prioritizing work and following assignments through to completion
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks/responsibilities with high- level attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of digital terminology and media math
- Skilled with data analysis with a high level of accuracy
- 1-3 years’ experience supporting a media buying/planning/selling department or media agency. Linear and digital media experience preferred.
Location: Based in New York Metropolitan Area, DC Metropolitan Area, Atlanta Georgia, California.
Remote/Hybrid/On-site:
This is a currently a hybrid position. The company reserves the right to modify remote work policies with limited notice.
Compensation: $63,000-$75,000 annually. Ability to participate in discretionary bonus plan.
