As a Stages Supervisor, you’ll be a part of a large Redmond-based team of professionals who create content for one of our large corporate partners in studios and remotely. This role will oversee many different production roles within the facility, troubleshooting production challenges, as well as coordinating facility needs, resourcing and training staff as production needs require.
This is the ultimate role for someone who has experience with sound stages as well as small studios, understands complicated workflows and can help bridge gaps between producers, production partners, internal teams, as well as the drive to manage equipment, spaces, and people to ensure production never stops.
Must be available to work on site in Redmond, WA.
As Stages Supervisor, You Will
- Train and onboard all part-time and full-time Stages team members.
- Work across teams/departments to solve day-to-day production and facility challenges.
- Create and update process and workflow.
- Contribute to scoping meetings to advise producers and clients regarding Stages workflow, capabilities, production planning and technique.
- Maintain evergreen knowledge of equipment, facility and stage capabilities as well as crewing needs.
- Create process and documentation for positions to help facilitate training.
- Work with the Operations + Stages Manager to grow, train, and maintain part-time staff bench.
- Oversee the scheduling of full-time and part-time staff.
- Participate in production (In studio/on Location/virtual): set lighting, PC operation, camera, maintain stages equipment and supplies.
- Collaborate with and advise producers.
- Fluidly work on multiple projects at once with the ability to prioritize while multitasking.
- Create and cultivate a positive work environment with co-workers and clients alike.
As an Applicant, You Bring
- 4+ years working in a production environment; proficient in cameras, lighting, and audio.
- A calm, flexible demeanor during fast paced and high-pressure situations.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changes in equipment, workflow, and schedule.

- Experience with remote productions; Teams and NDI.
Bonus if You Have
- BA/BS degree in media, film, or video.
- Extensive knowledge of production workflows.
- Deep understanding of crewing roles.
- Experience with Live Switching.
- Proficient signal flow knowledge, light routing knowledge, as well as experience with Tricaster, Black Magic and/or Ross and Grass Valley switchers.
- Post-production: Understand the needs for post-production to help guide decision making.
Additional Position Details
- Supervisory Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily workflow of the Stages.
- Oversee the training of new Stages team members.
- Oversee the props, furniture and lighting inventory for Stages.
- Physical Demands
- Bending, sitting, lifting, and long hours.
- At times, prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and/or working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Work Environment
- This role is in person, in a production studios environment, 5 days/week.
- Travel
- No travel necessary for this role. All work is done onsite.

Compensation
Pay Range: $80,000 - $95,000 (Annually)
The successful candidate’s pay will be based on various factors such as individual qualifications and work location.
