World Film Institute Internship

The World Film Institute currently has several unpaid intern positions open in multiple areas, offering opportunities across different departments relevant to the creation of visual entertainment whether it be commercial, educational, or entertainment. The new platform for WFI will offer masterclass level courses in every area to range for feature films to television to tik to videos. Using ai the courses will be made available in many languages to garner a worldwide audience. As a non-profit, the course will be offered at very low cost.

Internship Areas Available

• web site content building: Interns engage in hands-on roles supporting the outreach to all sources that can be contributors to WFI web offerings. Some interns interested in writing will develop weekly newsletter

• Membership Marketing: work with the team building the marketing opkan and then executing it visa social media and paid advertising, .

• Development: Interns work on research and helping scout new projects for potential collaborations .

• Marketing & Distribution: Roles focus on promoting WFI and reaching audiences through digital channels, social media, publicity campaigns, and festival strategy .

• Film Festivals & Programming: Involvement in organizing, curating, and managing events during film festivals, including helping select and schedule screenings, and handling filmmaker relations.

• Community Outreach & Events: Assisting with special events, community engagement, and liaising between filmmakers, studios, and festival organizers .

• Media & Communications: Roles include social media management, writing for newsletters, and crafting press releases for publicity .

Eligibility and Application

• Positions are open to college students, young professionals, and high school students depending on the area and program specifics .

• Duration can range from short-term event-based roles to semester-long or summer internships .

• Some internships are paid, while others may offer experience and credit toward degree programs .
