The Tennessee Titans are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Media Asset Manager who will be responsible for the creation and ongoing management of the Tennessee Titans’ Media Asset Protocol. This includes the ingest, storage, metadata, security, and distribution for all creative disciplines including but not limited to: Photography, Videography, and Graphic Design.
The Media Asset Manager will improve the Titans’ digital library through enforcing standards throughout the full media asset lifecycle: establishing metadata standards, streamlining processes, and improving media search capabilities. This individual will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the library and ensuring all asset metadata is consistent, accurate, and readily searchable.
The Media Asset Manager is also responsible for the ongoing migration and remediation of metadata from legacy systems, unifying assets under a single roof.
This individual must have a thorough understanding of file-based video and audio production workflows and will collaborate with all members of the Creative and Broadcast Technology teams to efficiently direct media throughout the pipeline, meet deadlines, and ensure quality control standards are met.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor creative team production calendar with PM leadership to plan for ingest needs and fluctuating pace throughout the year
  • Provide long-term plans for the preservation and digitizing of physical media
  • Consult on project organizational best practices with PMs, Editors, and Designers
  • Assist producers in ingest of content from a variety of sources, including:
    • Stadium control room EVS and gameday footage
    • Studio productions including television and podcast
    • Outside sources, such as NFL films, or radio or television networks
    • Press conferences
    • Feature and documentary/long-form content
    • Production and project documents
    • Archival film, photography, and physical media
  • Consistently organize and accurately tag all assets, including project files, to support future search needs and ensure maximum value can be extracted from content
  • Maintain and expand metadata taxonomies as required to accommodate new content and project types
  • Update metadata picklists, including rosters, on an ongoing basis
  • QC raw footage and images to evaluate color space, resolution, frame rate, video and audio levels, timecode, closed captioning, codec, bitrate, and other technical parameters
  • Facilitate internal and external transfer and delivery of footage and image pulls
  • Proactively monitor active and deep storage systems operational status and bring issues in a timely manner to the attention of the Broadcast Technology team
  • Advocate for continual improvements in media asset workflows
  • Manage user roles, permissions, and onboarding
  • Report on media usage through established KPIs
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Library, Information/Computer Science or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in content, media, or digital asset management systems required
  • Previous experience in Project Management, Information Technology, or Strategic Planning preferred
  • Familiarity with post-production and project management software (Adobe Creative Cloud, SonyCi, Editshare, Photo Mechanic, or Wrike) preferred
  • Experience with photo and video editing or producing
  • Knowledge of football terminology helpful but not required
  • Proven ability to manage a large quantity of projects simultaneously
  • Excellent multi-tasking and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Working knowledge of video and audio editing and transcoding systems, as well as experience configuring automated workflows
  • Proficient in digital video and audio encoding and broadcast technical standards
  • Self-starter; able to effectively work independently without direct supervision
  • Ability to work extended hours and flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays if needed
