A key member of the Tribeca Finance team, the Financial Analyst reports to the VP, Finance and works with internal teams as well as external clients to help ensure that accurate, timely, and meaningful financial data is available to management to make informed business decisions. RESPONSIBILITIES

Team player during financial processes (ie monthly close, re-forecasts, and annual budget)

Support the Finance team with basic accounting tasks, including recording financial transactions, assisting with financial statement preparation, and maintaining financial records

Own monthly journals entries and maintain associated workpapers including reconciliation of ledger accounts

Help to prepare monthly financial reporting package

Monitor and manage the financial aspects of commercial production, tracking spend and ensuring clients are appropriately and timely billed

Process commercial production invoices, including reviewing and verifying invoices for accuracy and completeness, matching invoices to purchase orders, coding and entering invoices data into the accounting system

Work closely with the production team, including the producer and other department heads, preparing financial and cost reports and responding to finance questions about the production

Assist with the film distribution business which includes royalty statements

Support the annual financial audit by gathering information and preparing documents

Assist with ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed

REQUIREMENTS + SKILLS

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or economics

1-2 years of related financial analysis and/or accounting experience

Technically proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel

Experience with Workday Financials is a plus

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices

Knowledge of financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow, etc) is required

Highly organized, accurate and detail oriented

Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders

Ability to transition smoothly between multiple responsibilities and projects

SALARY RANGE: $50,000 - $60,000 -- this role is overtime eligible

LOCATION: role is onsite at NYC office 3x days a week
