Role Description

We are hiring a Show Manager to join The Emily Austin Show team. This is a hybrid role based primarily remotely, with occasional in-person meetings in Hewlett, Long Island (up to once a week if needed). The show films twice a week, but the role involves daily posting and content management.

The ideal candidate will:

• Brainstorm creative, relevant, and engaging show segments

• Edit and format show clips for daily posting on social media

• Visualize and execute social-first storytelling with a creative edge

• Stay current on politics, entertainment, and internet trends to shape segment ideas

• Help plan, structure, and evolve the show’s content calendar

• Be highly responsive and collaborative with Emily on short notice

Qualifications

• Must be up-to-date and passionate about U.S. politics, pop culture, and trending news

• Strong video editing skills (short-form vertical content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.)

• Experience with social media management and daily content posting

• Creative eye for pacing, aesthetics, and audience engagement

• Organized, proactive, and available by phone/text for real-time feedback and coordination

• Able to occasionally travel to Hewlett, Long Island (max once per week)

• Background in digital media, content creation, or production preferred
