We are seeking a highly connected individual to join Vocal Media's Creator Campaigns team!


As Talent Engagement Manager, you'll identify and build relationships with emerging content creators across all social platforms. A successful Talent Engagement Manager has cultivated a deep and collaborative network in the creator industry and is energized by bringing creative people together to do great work for impact organizations and political campaigns.


Responsibilities

  • Actively foster existing creator connections and establish new ones across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Twitch, and other social platforms
  • Research emerging talent, including embedding in digital niches and communities
  • Vet creators and match them with Vocal’s impact campaigns based on niche, audience, content style, and performance.
  • Plan online and IRL events attended by content creators, industry leaders, and political organization that inspire content creation and collaboration
  • Establish new creator connections at industry events, creator conferences, and networking opportunities, follow through on leads and maintain always-on conversations with creators about Vocal’s mission and projects.
  • Manage 1-3 full-time and/or part-time Talent Engagement staff and delegate tasks effectively to junior team members, overseeing their execution.


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in talent management, influencer marketing, or community building in creator-centered spaces - online and IRL
  • Has cultivated an active network of connections in the creator space, only ever two degrees of separation from getting an intro to major players in the space
  • A trusted confidant and collaborator who has deep experience helping creators succeed
  • Experience creating content yourself— you get what it takes to put yourself on the internet
  • Thorough knowledge of the latest trends, content niches and online communities before they go mainstream
  • A professional extrovert who wants to bring people together to do great work
  • Energized by building new teams and establishing processes to achieve goals
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
  • Passion for progressive politics and strong cultural competency
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with variable hours and strict deadlines
