Your New Role…

As the Senior Manager, Visual Merchandising you will be an integral member of the Tours & Retail Group, overseeing the visual direction of all WB Retail Stores. This will include creating guidelines, playbooks, annual calendar cadences and visual standards for the wider visual team, covering window design, instore merchandising, marketing creatives, photo shoots etc.

Your Role Accountabilities...

  • Lead and inspire the visual team across the UK, US & Japan in delivering a consistent look and feel across stand-alone and Tour Retail, ensuring the stores (and commercial areas operated by partners) are visually merchandised to the highest standards and with graphics and equipment are compliant with guidelines.
  • Participate in management meetings and communicate global visual merchandise department plans and activities to Senior Retail Managers & Directors, acting as the main point of contact for visual merchandising enquiries, providing support and troubleshooting where required to support visual activity across Warner Bros. Studio Tour projects and retail.
  • Manage and train the Visual Merchandising Teams to grow awareness of visual and promotional standards, ensuring consistency and commerciality across all stores whilst maintaining minimal shrinkage through the efficient handling of product and packaging.
  • Manage budgets and act as the responsible person for signing off quotes  
  • Act as a key stakeholder in the design or redesign of all new WBD Tours & Retail projects and visual concept with a view to present to the wider team.
  • Support the Senior Retail Managers and Directors to ensure excellent customer service is provided, and to achieve agreed sales targets, as well as providing regular feedback and solutions.  
  • Adhere to all H&S policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for all visitors and staff.
  • Ensure team are adhering to housekeeping duties and minor maintenance on a daily basis ensuring strict standards are maintained and ensure that stock is replenished and visually merchandised in accordance with agreed guidelines. 
  • Manage onsite visits to all UK, US and Jap an locations on a regular basis

Qualifications & Experience...

  • Proven Visual Merchandising management experience and skills
  • Experience of a retail or sales environment where high emphasis is placed on visual standards, product presentation and service.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to proactively seek opportunities to increase sales.
  • Strong Brand awareness
  • Ability to work as part of a flexible team with prior people leadership and development experience.
  • Effective and confident communicator

Working Pattern...

  • Because of the adaptive nature of this role, flexibility is required to suit the needs of the business. 
  • Regular travel to UK locations, New York and Tokyo essential.
