Skyhorse Publishing is seeking an experienced nonfiction senior editor for Regnery Publishing. This position will be based in our offices on 36th street and 8th Avenue in NYC.

Editor will be responsible for conservative political acquisitions as well as timely management of new titles and reprints. Successful candidates will have a demonstrated track record of acquiring and shepherding manuscripts from acquisition through publication. Senior editor will be directly responsible or oversee:

· Acquiring 15 conservative political titles per year.

· Preparing catalog copy, metadata, and other tasks to facilitate selling and distribution of new titles.

· Liaising with authors, agents, production, art, sales, and publicity to ensure timely and successful publication of each title.

Requirements:

· 5+ years of demonstrated success in acquisitions and editing

· Self-motivated, deadline-driven, flexible, and well-organized

· Positive attitude/team player, maintains professional composure under pressure

· Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken

· Strong attention to detail a must

· Proficienty in Outlook and Excel

· Immediate availability preferred
