BIG PICTURE:
Changing Lives Productions is seeking an Audience Growth Lead to join our growing Data & Insights team. Reporting to the Head of Audience Development & Insights, this role will act as a growth hacker, identifying and executing new revenue and view growth strategies across YouTube, Facebook, and beyond. You’ll be part strategist, part analyst, and part creative, driving our next stage of growth through data-driven innovation.The ideal candidate is curious, forward-thinking, and collaborative. A balance of creative thinking and a data-driven approach is essential for success in this role.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Identify innovative strategies to grow revenue, views, and audience across platforms.
- Own the full process of implementing, testing, measuring, and optimizing growth strategies.
- Run A/B tests across thumbnails, titles, intros, creative formats, and report back actionable learnings.
- Pull and interpret data to uncover actionable insights that drive decisions, not just report numbers.
- Share weekly and monthly insights, explaining the "why" behind performance.
- Analyze audience retention to identify key engagement and drop-off points, highlighting viewer behavior patterns.
- Conduct competitive research to identify new strategies and opportunities.
- Bring forward evolving platform best practices, updates, and trends to accelerate growth.
- Participate in content ideation, bringing both creative and data perspectives.
- Communicate key insights across teams.
WHAT YOU HAVE:
- 5+ years of experience in audience development, growth hacking, social marketing, or social insights within media, entertainment, or digital content.
- Proven track record of using data and creative growth strategies to drive measurable growth.
- Deep knowledge of YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and platform-specific best practices.
- Expert-level skills in YouTube and Facebook Analytics, comfortable independently pulling and interpreting data.
- A strong mix of analytical rigor and creative thinking, leveraging both skill sets to guide strategic decisions.
- Highly innovative, proactive, and experimental, with a knack for testing and iterating toward growth.
- Hands-on experience A/B testing creative assets (ideas, thumbnails, titles, intros, editing styles, etc.).
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, pivot tables, data visualization).
- Bonus: Experience in YouTube SEO/optimization, Photoshop, and/or paid media.
