Scouting Internship: Winter-Spring 2022

Maximum Films & Management is currently looking for a motivated, detail-oriented intern for Winter-Spring 2022 with good people and communication skills, nice phone manner, and solid reading/writing/coverage abilities, to work 2 days a week, most likely on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:00am until about 6:30/7:00pm. Exact start date flexible. This internship will begin remotely.

Maximum Films & Management is a literary consulting/scouting company which serves as the New York based literary scout for LA-based studios, feature film production, and TV production companies. Our offices are located in Midtown West.

Responsibilities will include:

Read books and write coverage/synopses, in MFM’s format, on a weekly basis (typically 1 book per weekend).

Research authors/books as needed, create a daily Trades Round-up of news and deals, scour magazines and publications for potential articles for adaptation and client-requested research.

Research articles for potential film/TV adaptation.
