The Science of Fishing is the #1 fishing podcast in the world. We sit at the intersection of elite sportfishing, science, and storytelling—with celebrity guests, live tournament recordings, and content that reaches passionate anglers.
We have a growing media footprint and a loyal following. Now we need someone to help run the show.
The Role:
We’re hiring a one-person powerhouse to manage the podcast brand from top to bottom (with room to buold a team latwr. You won’t be recording episodes—that’s handled. You’ll do everything else: from strategy to social media, guest coordination to editing management, and even selling sponsorships (and earning commission when you do).

Your Responsibilities:
Podcast Management:
Coordinate episode editing and delivery with post-production team
Maintain publishing schedule and content calendar
Write titles, descriptions, and show notes for all platforms
Upload to Spotify, YouTube, Apple, and other platforms
Guest Outreach:
Identify, research, and book relevant guests
Manage all guest comms and scheduling
Prep background briefs and talking points
Social & Content Marketing:
Create and schedule short-form content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts)
Run podcast social accounts and engage with the community
Track performance metrics and adapt based on engagement
Sponsorship Sales & Growth:
Proactively reach out to potential sponsors and partners
Handle outreach, negotiation, and follow-up
Earn commission on all deals closed
You Are:
A self-starter who thrives with autonomy
Skilled in podcasting, content, or creator marketing
Social media savvy and obsessed with growth
Comfortable doing outreach and selling
Passionate about fishing/outdoors (or willing to dive in)
Compensation & Upside:
Monthly salary based on experience
Commission on every sponsorship you bring in
