The iOne Digital Social Media team creates and distributes all content posted from iOne Digital brands. Reporting to the Vice President of Social, the Social Media Manager, Branded Content will be a creative lead and liaison to the Integrated Marketing and Sales teams working to drive engagement, reach and community across the iOne National social handles for paid and sponsored promotions.


In this role, you will fully familiarize yourself with the portfolio of existing content and franchises offered by the Social Division as a baseline menu of options to serve up to potential clients and sponsors when responding to RFPs and RFIs. Additionally, you’ll help to brainstorm and develop on-trend customized outstanding social campaigns and guide the end-to-end process from conceptualization through production for our branded content and franchises.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The ideal candidate should be able to:

  • Ideate around and help produce creative content that is attractive and engaging to build brand awareness and drive audience engagement and growth.
  • Lead the creative ideation and development process and asset execution of social media campaigns across multiple platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Threads, and Tiktok.
  • Assist with responding to Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) submitted by clients to the iOne Salesforce or the Integrated Marketing team.
  • Manage proposal development through all applicable phases - ideation, vetting, writing, and presenting
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the Company, throughout the ideation and proposal development process
  • Oversee and monitor client led and sponsorship campaigns, including the analysis and a recap report of social statistics
  • Actively participate in various meetings (Team, inter-departmental), as well as client meetings or presentations
  • Help develop best-in-class social creative assets across iOne Digital brands, original and always on campaigns, branded content, franchises and tent poles.
  • Suggest and implement new creative features to develop brand awareness, like campaigns, promotions and competitions.
  • Produce social media sales requests on an as needed basis.
  • Serve as cross-functional partner to Sales, Creative, and Product teams so that our social strategy execution is in alignment with other team goals/KPIs.
  • Manage freelance social media producers and interns.
  • Participates in regular brainstorm and planning meetings to help develop branded, franchise and campaign social content.
  • Meets regularly with the editorial and video teams to brainstorm engaging 360 content.
  • Provides clear vision and directive to creatives on how to execute content across all platforms
  • Stay in-tune with cultural and design trends, as well as emerging influencer talent
  • Complies with Network and Urban One’s mandatory trainings and adheres to related course deadlines.

CRITICAL COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESS:

  • Must have demonstrable skills and experience writing compelling and effective proposals, ideally via a portfolio of work.
  • Experience and comprehension of how Social media is measured, planned, packaged, and sold.
  • Ability to ensure all proposals tell a powerful story.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to take initiative, identify issues and develop recommended solutions
  • Strong conceptual and aesthetic skills (color, illustration, typography, logo design, layout); knowledge of social media/digital delivery
  • Experience building aspirational and relevant social content for Black and multicultural Gen-Z and Millennial audiences
  • Passion and understanding of today’s social media landscape and the best practices as it relates to each unique platform
  • Ability to create and deliver creative content (text, image and video)
  • On top of (and ahead of) current design, social media and marketing trends and platforms; passionate about capturing the attention of hungry entertainment fans and audiences
  • Endlessly creative: passionate about ideating and creating engaging social ideas and captivating video/photo concepts
  • Desire to create new content that resonates with consumers
  • Experience with a variety of creative disciplines: photography, videography, design, and production are a plus

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 2-3 years successful track record of related experience: integrated marketing, branded content creation
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross departmentally, maintain organized content plans and conceptualize a path for brand development and awareness.
  • Ability to process regular constructive feedback

**SALARY RANGE: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00**

Categories

  • Identifiers – This includes information that identifies you, like your name, postal address, and contact details.

  • Application details and supporting materials – The information related to your application, including both information you provided (e.g., resumes, educational and professional records and certificates, personal statements, and references) and information we gathered from other sources in connection with evaluating you as a candidate for employment (e.g., statements from your references, results of background checks that you have authorized us to perform, public records, and government records).

Once we receive your request and confirm your identity, we will review your request, taking into account the nature of the personal information and the purposes of the processing of the personal information to see if we can correct the data. We may also request additional information showing that the information you want to correct is inaccurate.

Right to Opt Out of the Sale or Sharing of Personal Information to Third Parties

You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information by us to third parties.
