Minute Media is a global technology and content company powering leading sports and culture brands Sports Illustrated, FanSided, The Players’ Tribune, 90min, and more. Our proprietary platform reaches 200 million monthly users, supports 1,500+ content creators, and distributes experiences in 10 languages across 14 markets.
We’re looking for a Senior Video Editor who is a dynamic storyteller and content creator with a strong understanding of social platforms, deep knowledge of video production, and expert-level skills in Adobe Creative Suite.
We’re seeking someone passionate about sports culture who can own the creation of a wide range of video formats, including (but not limited to): short-form social content (30–60 seconds), digital and linear commercial spots, 3–4 minute narrative pieces, and mini-documentaries.
As a Senior Video Editor, you will:
- Create best-in-class video content to support our digital marketing and editorial initiatives
- Work across all Minute Media brands, including The Players’ Tribune and Sports Illustrated
- Lead editing and post-production of video content from concept to delivery
- Contribute to original, first-to-market video concepts
- Support distribution across all social platforms
- Optimize workflows and manage media assets efficiently
Where You’ll Be:
- We offer a hybrid work model for flexibility
- Most days, you can choose to work remotely or from the office
- This team typically collaborates in-office 1–2 days per week
The expected salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $120,000. Actual pay will be determined based on skills, experience, and location. The benefits available for this position include flexible vacation policy, 15 paid holidays, paid parental leave, health insurance, 401(k) retirement plan.
Requirements:
What You’ll Bring:
- 7+ years of experience in editorial and branded video content
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Strong working knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, and Audition
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Flexibility to adapt to shifting production plans and schedules
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A high level of self-awareness, accountability, and a growth mindset
- Passion for video trends and a creative mindset to pitch new ideas
- Excellent communication skills and comfort giving and receiving feedback
- Animation experience is a plus, but not required
- A strong interest in sports and knowledge of athletes across multiple sports is a bonus
- Experience managing or mentoring other editors is a plus
