Overview:

The Creative Learning Producer is responsible for creating and producing videos that are focused on teaching the standards and procedures within our restaurants and home office. In collaboration with the training team, this individual will combine technical skills with creativity to produce videos that are engaging, informative, and effective in delivering the intended educational content.

  • Understands the principles of visual storytelling and design as well as how to effectively communicate ideas through engaging content
  • Produces diverse digital content: Create videos, podcasts, infographics, and more, optimizing for maximum reach and engagement
  • Collaborates with subject matter experts and instructional designers to understand the overall objectives for each training video
  • Determines the storyline and script for each video
  • Directs and produces each video, including the shoot, editing, and adding graphics and special effects
  • Ensures the video aligns with First Watch culture, vision and values
  • Engages learners and facilitates understanding across different audiences and languages
  • Coordinates and manages the production team, including videographers, in-restaurant talent, animators, voice-over artists, etc.
  • Ensures the final video is of high quality and effectively conveys the educational message
  • Revising and editing videos based on feedback from educators and learners
  • Stays informed on trends and advancements in video production and education technology
  • Utilizes time-saving tips and AI tools to enhance creative flow, focusing on ethical and practical use
  • Gains proficiency in using various digital tools and platforms, enhancing the content creation process and making workflow more efficient
  • Develop strategies for optimizing and promoting employee-facing digital content, ensuring maximum reach and engagement across all positions
  • Monitors analytics and viewer feedback to gauge video effectiveness
  • Supports an e-learning strategy with a focus on how to enhance operational skills and knowledge; use of video-based training, corporate LMS, and other technology trends in training
  • Offers innovative ideas and creative solutions to enhance other training and employee development programs, ensuring they are engaging and effective
  • Completes additional projects assigned by the leadership team in support of Human Resources and/or Operations Excellence
  • Engages in projects across different departments to provide training expertise and support, ensuring consistency and quality in training materials and alignment with broader company initiatives and goals
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic art, digital film production, screenwriting, digital editing or visual effects
  • Experience in the hospitality industry, with 3+ years of work in corporate training and/or human resources
  • Knowledge of Digital Adoption Platforms, InDesign, SharePoint, Camtasia, and Articulate preferred, Premier Pro (or similar)
  • Demonstrates advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including SharePoint, and OneDrive, to effectively manage and collaborate on digital content creation and training initiatives.
  • Audio/Podcast experience
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and skills
  • Project management: handles multiple tasks, balances priorities and meets tight deadlines
  • Ability to travel 15-20% of the work week
