Job Description
TheWrap is seeking a versatile film reporter with industry experience, connections and knowhow. The writer should be ready to tackle film and film industry news with a passion for the film business.
The ideal candidate is not someone who just waits around for an assignment (though there will certainly be plenty). A love of movies is a must.
Your copy should be clean, clever and conversational. Knowledge of AP style and love of a good headline is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, energetic and capable of multitasking in a real-time news environment, with a specific emphasis on covering the business of film and how decisions in Hollywood affect the film industry as a whole.
This is a full-time position that is currently in a hybrid work-from-home model requiring two days per week in TheWrap’s Los Angeles office.
