Our Client, a leading entertainment company, is seeking an Assistant Illustration Manager to provide support to the Publishing and Global Art Development department. You will create and oversee the creation of layouts, clean-up and painted illustrations for various film tie-in programs as well as franchise extension stories.

- Schedule Approximately 9:00am-5:00pm M-F onsite in Emeryville, CA
- Contracted Assignment from November 2026 through July 2027
- Pay rate $43.33/hour
- Assist with the creation of layouts, clean-up and paint illustrations for various books for franchise extensions.
- Collaborate with staff artists as well as staff editors and designers to ensure all aspects of title development are in sync.
- Assist with reference collection for freelance artists.
- Assist with management and art direction of freelance artists and revise commissioned work as needed to meet asset delivery requirements.
- Significant expertise in digital illustration, particularly in Photoshop.
- Must have the ability to create illustrations in various styles.
- Must possess strong drafting skills.
- Must possess excellent time management skills to meet deadlines on multiple project timelines.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Illustration, Fine Art or other creative discipline.
