Job Description
About us
A1R is a sports agency representing college and high school football and basketball athletes on NIL deals. Our athletes need content that gets them seen — by coaches, by brands, and by fans. Good film and a strong feed directly affect what an athlete can earn.
The role:
You'll create content for our athlete clients: highlight reels, short-form social cuts, and brand deliverables for NIL partnerships. This is hands-on work with real output — what you make goes on recruiting profiles, athlete feeds, and in front of paying brand partners.
What you'll do
- Edit game and practice footage into highlight reels (2–5 min recruiting tapes and :15–:60 social cuts)
- Produce short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, and X — training clips, behind-the-scenes, game-day posts
- Cut deliverables for NIL brand partnerships, following partner briefs and deadlines
- Deliver finished, platform-ready files to the A1R team for review and posting
- Pull footage from Hudl, game film, and athlete-submitted clips, and keep the asset library organized
- Add graphics, stat overlays, music, and branding consistent with each athlete's identity
- Build a content pipeline so we always have material ready in-season and out
- Flag what's performing well and bring ideas for what to make next
What we're looking for
- Working knowledge of Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut
- A reel, portfolio, or account you've run — school projects, personal edits, and team work all count
- Real familiarity with football and/or basketball. You need to know what a good play looks like to cut one.
- Native feel for what performs on TikTok and Instagram, and a sense of when a trend is worth using
- Fast turnaround and reliability during game weeks
- Discretion — you'll be working with athlete footage and partner materials before they're public
- Bonus: After Effects, Photoshop, motion graphics, or on-site shooting experience
Details
- Must be enrolled in University in the United States
- Start date immediate, running through the end of the spring semester
- Flexible around class schedule
- Unpaid; structured for academic credit.
- Strong performers will be considered for a paid full-time role at the end of the term
