WME Group seeks a talented and highly motivated junior lawyer to join its business and legal affairs team, primarily supporting WME's Motion Picture, Talent, and WME Independent Film Departments.

Hiring Rate Maximum $100,000 annually

Responsibilities
- Reviewing, redlining, and negotiating contracts under tight deadlines, including endorsement, appearance, license and other image-rights and personal-services agreements
- Implementing and refining systems for information and document-management
- Fostering positive long-term relationships with the company’s clients and customers
- Manage and update our database of precedent used for various agreements
- Manage the grids, checklists and forms used by the business affairs group
- Support the Motion Picture Business Affairs team by handing special projects and requests when assigned.
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- Admitted to CA Bar (or another state bar permissible under CA in-house counsel rules)
- 1-3+ year(s) of transactional legal/business affairs experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to interact with a range of personalities and styles in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding drafting, analytical, and organizational skills
- A curious mind, a strong work ethic, and a creative but practical approach to problem-solving
- Knowledge of motion picture and talent preferred, but not required
- Required to work in-office
