Job Description
Content Creator Intern
Remote. Someone local in Los Angeles is preferred but not required. Internship is 5-10 hrs/week to start. We're looking for someone who genuinely cares about body care, knows how to make content that works, and already knows what's working on social right now. We're building our TikTok presence now, and live selling is the near-term plan.
What you'd do
- Film with the founder — product, texture, in-use, talking-to-camera
- Cut and caption vertical short-form for TikTok and Reels
- Keep the posting calendar moving so content goes out consistently
And throughout: bring ideas. We want someone with opinions about this space, not someone waiting to be told what to shoot.
Who we're looking for
1. You actually care about body care.
Not beauty in general — body care specifically. You have opinions about exfoliation. You know why everyone's talking about KP. You've tried the scrubs and the acids and can say what worked and what didn't. If you're the person your friends text about their skin, that's the person we want. This isn't a job you should apply to because it's a job.
2. You know how to make content that works.
Not cinematic — effective. You understand that the first two seconds decide everything, that the sound matters as much as the picture, and that a raw phone clip often beats a polished one. You can shoot and edit on your phone and make something people finish watching.
3. You're tapped into what's working right now.
You watch a lot, and you watch analytically. You could tell us why one video got two million views and a nearly identical one got two hundred. You know which formats are working this month, not last year. When a trend starts, you notice early.
Plus:
- Comfortable on camera. Non-negotiable for this role.
- Reliable — showing up the same day every week matters more here than anything on your résumé.
- LA-based is preferred but not required.
- No camera and no degree required. A phone and taste will do.
To apply
Email info@puremarocshop.com with:
- A link to anything you've made — TikTok, Reels, a reel, whatever you have
- Three ideas for content for this product. One line each.
- One piece of content from the last month that you think really worked — and why. Any brand, any creator. This is the part we'll read most closely.
- What's in your shower right now?
- Have you hosted a live or been on camera before? Either answer is fine — we just want to know.
- Your weekly availability
Finalists: we'll ask you to talk about any product of your choosing for ten minutes on video — one take, unedited. That's the whole audition, and it tells us more than any interview would.
