Position Details

Employment Type: Contract

Location: Santa Monica, California

Work Environment: In-person, 4-5 days per week

Compensation: $36,000-$70,000 annually, consisting of a competitive base salary plus KPI-based performance incentives. Total compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and achievement of established performance metrics.

Education Required: Bachelor's Degree

Experience Required: 1-2 years of professional experience in an Administrative Assistant, Marketing/Graphic Design, Development Assistant, or Development Coordinator role.


Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Deliverables Coordinator to join our growing film and television development team in Santa Monica. This position sits at the intersection of creative development, project management, and production planning, supporting a fast-paced slate of feature films, television series, documentaries, and other entertainment projects from early development through financing.


The ideal candidate is equally comfortable designing polished investor presentations, preparing production documents, organizing complex development slates, and managing multiple priorities simultaneously. This individual will supervise development interns while supporting a senior Executive Producer across a diverse portfolio of projects.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Development Materials

  • Design and produce high-quality film and television pitch decks for investors, financiers, talent representatives, studios, production companies, sales agents, distributors, and co-production partners.
  • Create visually compelling presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint, Apple Keynote, Canva, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Maintain consistent branding and professional presentation standards across all development materials.
  • Revise and update presentations throughout each project's development lifecycle.
  • Assist with creating one-sheets, lookbooks, investor materials, and additional marketing collateral as needed.


Production & Financial Deliverables

  • Prepare industry-standard shooting schedules using Movie Magic Scheduling.
  • Build preliminary top sheet budgets and production budgets using Movie Magic Budgeting.
  • Develop financial models, financing scenarios, and supporting spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
  • Assist in preparing production materials required for financing, packaging, and partner discussions.
  • Ensure all production documents remain organized and up to date throughout development.


Project Management

  • Oversee an assigned development slate of film and television projects.
  • Track project milestones, deadlines, deliverables, outreach efforts, and development timelines.
  • Coordinate project materials for shopping to financiers, producers, directors, distributors, sales companies, talent representatives, and co-production partners.
  • Maintain organized documentation, databases, and version control across multiple active projects.
  • Monitor deliverable deadlines to ensure projects continue progressing efficiently.


Executive Producer Support

  • Support a senior Executive Producer in managing an active development slate.
  • Assist with project packaging strategies, financing initiatives, director outreach, talent attachments, and co-production opportunities.
  • Prepare research, meeting materials, presentations, and outreach lists.
  • Coordinate project deliverables and follow-up across multiple ongoing initiatives.
  • Conduct industry research related to production companies, financing entities, distributors, and market trends.


Team Leadership

  • Manage, mentor, and train development interns.
  • Delegate deliverable-related assignments while maintaining quality control.
  • Create workflows and operational best practices to improve efficiency across the development team.
  • Foster a collaborative and organized team environment.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in an Administrative Assistant, Marketing/Graphic Design, Development Assistant, or Development Coordinator role.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
