Job Description:
The Label Manager is responsible for acquiring and leading assigned content/labels with an aim to maximize revenue for their labels. The Label Manager serves as the primary liaison between the labels and the MVD team on all matters related to the labels’ business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Targets, Negotiates and Signs labels and content for distribution
- Coordinates efforts between our labels and team, including sales, delivery, inventory, and marketing.
- Develops Key relationships with team members from each of their labels.
- Other reasonable work as assigned by Supervisor
Key Competencies & Skills:
- Knowledge of Film or Music catalog and releases.
- Strong Organization skills and task management skills.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced work environment. Managing a good volume of Emails and Conference calls.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience in the Music or Film entertainment business.
- Ability to manage expectations of our labels and sales team.
- Email organization, Excel knowledge, and organizational skills
Salary and Vendor Bonus:
Salary is $60,000 annually
vendor bonus rate (.006 of margin)
