Summary Statement

The Director of Entertainment Booking is responsible for sourcing, booking, and delivering a diverse slate of live entertainment that aligns with the property’s brand, audience, and financial goals. This role leads artist booking strategy from negotiation through execution, balancing creative vision with operational and budget realities in a fast-paced Las Vegas environment.

Primary Job Duties: Includes but is not limited to:

  • Lead talent booking efforts, including identifying artists, negotiating contracts, and securing performances within approved budgets.
  • Develop and manage long-term entertainment calendars, ensuring programming aligns with brand strategy, market trends, and target demographics.
  • Oversee show logistics, including production requirements, technical riders, artist hospitality, and venue operations.
  • Manage event financials, including budgets, ticket pricing strategy, and inventory management to drive profitability.
  • Partner closely with marketing, sales, and food and beverage teams to promote events and enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with agents, promoters, and other industry partners.
  • Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested.

Qualifications: Includes but is not limited to:

  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to balance artist expectations and financial constraints.
  • Clear and effective communication skills across internal teams and external partners.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple events and timelines simultaneously.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Solid understanding of current entertainment trends, artist markets, and live production requirements.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to successfully lead and mentor a team.

Preferred

  • Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.

Minimum Education And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least eight years' experience in a entertainment booking, production, venue operations, or a related field
  • At least five years of directly related operational management experience at a similar leadership level.
  • Must be 21 years of age.

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

  • This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, live entertainment environment, including theaters, arenas, nightclubs, and backstage areas.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during site visits, rehearsals, load-ins, sound checks, and live events.
  • Occasional lifting or carrying materials weighing up to approximately 25 pounds, such as event materials or equipment samples
  • Frequent use of a computer, phone, and other office equipment for scheduling, communication, and contract review.
  • Ability to travel between venues and attend events during evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
  • Ability to see, hear, and communicate effectively to coordinate with artists, production teams, and internal stakeholders.
