Are you a college student eager to practice and apply your skills in a meaningful way while building your professional portfolio? Join The Traveling Black Women Network (TBW) for our Fall 2026 Internship Program!


TBW is looking for passionate, creative, and motivated interns to join us this Fall! If you’re excited about travel, storytelling, and/or building meaningful digital communities, this is your chance to practice your skills and contribute to a brand that empowers and celebrates Black women travelers.


We are looking for undergraduate students with excellent time management, organizational skills, and communication skills.


We’re offering three unique internship opportunities this semester.


1. Community Events Interns (2)

Help us grow and energize our global travel community across Meta (WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram).


You’ll learn to:

  • Drive weekly engagement and community participation goals.
  • Support member conversations, content sharing, and online activations.
  • Track engagement insights, test strategies, and report on community growth.



Ideal Candidate:

  • Sociable, outgoing, and detail-oriented.
  • Full of creative ideas for virtual & in-person community engagement.
  • Excited to contribute to community-building initiatives.



2. Digital Marketing Interns (2)

Learn how to build and optimize a digital brand across platforms while working on Pinterest, Instagram, Threads, YouTube, blogs, and email marketing.


You’ll learn to:

  • Execute growth strategies
  • Repurpose content into blogs, carousels, and newsletters.
  • Support campaign efforts around TBW trips, guides, memberships, and seasonal promotions.



Ideal Candidate:

  • Tech-savvy, creative, and detail-oriented.
  • Familiar with tools like Google AdSense and marketing analytics platforms.
  • Passionate about social media trends and digital storytelling.



3. Video Editing Interns (4)

Bring TBW’s travel stories to life on by editing long-form and short-form content.


You’ll learn to:

  • Edit engaging videos that boost audience retention and watch time.
  • Create short-form content derived from long-form content to expand reach and subscriber growth.
  • Implement video strategies including hooks, CTAs, playlists, and thumbnails.



Ideal Candidate:

  • Experienced with video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or Final Cut Pro).
  • Creative with a strong sense of pacing and visual storytelling.
  • Organized and self-motivated, with a portfolio showcasing prior video work.



What You’ll Gain
