The Role

Shiloh & Bros Gaming is looking for a Gameplay Streaming Technician to serve as the technical backbone of our gaming streams and computer systems. You'll be the go-to person for keeping streams and gameplay videos running smoothly — troubleshooting on the fly, maintaining our streaming setup, and making sure viewers never see a dropped frame, a bad mic, or a frozen screen. This is an in-person role based just outside Nashville, TN.

Beyond streaming, you'll also be a key part of our general IT support, helping keep computers, networks, and everyday tech running for the whole team. This role suits someone who genuinely loves technology: the more you know about computers, the better, and staying current with new tools and hardware isn't optional; it's core to doing this job well.

What You'll Do

  • Set up, test, and monitor streaming hardware and software before and during live and recorded gameplay videos (capture cards, encoders, cameras, mics, lighting, PCs)
  • Manage and troubleshoot streaming software (OBS or similar) in real time during live and pre-recorded sessions
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly — audio sync, dropped connections, overlay glitches, bitrate/encoding problems
  • Maintain and optimize internet connectivity and network setup for reliable, high-quality streams
  • Perform pre-stream checklists and post-stream equipment teardown/storage
  • Keep an inventory of streaming equipment and flag gear that needs repair or replacement
  • Document recurring issues and build simple troubleshooting guides for the team
  • Stay current on YouTube's streaming requirements, settings, and platform updates (secondary familiarity with Twitch/Kick a plus)
  • Serve as a general IT resource for the entire company — troubleshooting computers, software, networking, and everyday tech issues outside of stream hours
  • Actively keep up with new technology, tools, and equipment, and recommend upgrades that keep our setup state-of-the-art

What You Bring

  • Hands-on experience with live streaming setups (OBS/Streamlabs/vMix or equivalent)
  • A passion for all things computers
  • Comfortable troubleshooting under pressure, especially mid-broadcast
  • Familiarity with YouTube's streaming requirements and technical quirks
  • Broad, general computer/IT knowledge — networking, hardware, software troubleshooting, operating systems.
  • A genuine interest in staying current with technology — new hardware, software, and streaming tools change fast, and keeping our setup state-of-the-art is a core expectation of this role
  • Able to work on-site just outside Nashville, TN

Nice to Have

  • Experience with green screens, multi-camera setups, or virtual sets
  • Basic scripting/automation experience (e.g., for stream alerts or bots)
  • Past experience supporting content creators, esports teams, or broadcast production
