ABOUT THE ROLE
This role will be responsible for identifying, securing, and coordinating guests for the Dan Le Batard Show and the Le Batard and Friends Network. This would include booking prominent figures across the sports industry, friends of the network and news makers.
You will have a deep knowledge of sports, news and culture, exceptional communication skills, outstanding organizational abilities, and, most importantly, an established network of relationships throughout the sports industry. You should already have direct access to athletes, coaches, executives, agents, media personalities, publicists, and other influential figures who can contribute to compelling podcast content.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leverage an existing network of sports industry contacts to consistently secure high-quality guests.
- Research and identify new guests that align with the podcast's audience and content strategy.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with athletes, coaches, sports executives, journalists, broadcasters, agents, publicists, and influencers.
- Conduct outreach through email, phone, social media, and professional networks.
- Negotiate guest availability and schedule appearances.
- Manage a guest pipeline and booking calendar to ensure shows have guest-related content
GUEST BOOKING
- Confirm recording dates, times, and technical requirements.
- Provide guests with pre-show information, talking points, and expectations.
- Coordinate logistics across hosts, producers, and guests.
- Send reminders and follow-up communications before and after recordings.
- Ensure all required release forms and permissions are completed.
RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
- Serve as the primary point of contact for guests.
- Deliver a professional, high-quality guest experience.
- Expand and strengthen the company's network of sports industry relationships.
- Maintain an organized database of contacts, previous guests, and future prospects.
- Foster long-term relationships that lead to repeat appearances and referrals.
This role may require irregular hours, weekend work and travel
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong research and story development skills, including the ability to identify timely, relevant guests and angles in sports and culture.
- Experience in talent booking or coordinating guests for podcasts, digital shows, or broadcast content, preferably in a media or entertainment environment.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills for working with talent, representatives, and internal production teams.
- Proven organizational and time-management abilities, including scheduling, coordinating logistics, and managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Familiarity with sports media, pop culture, and current events, and comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Miami, FL, while taking initiative and ownership of booking responsibilities.
- Professional experience with production tools or workflows (e.g., shared calendars, project management software, call sheets) is beneficial.
Salary: $65,000-$85,000 depending on experience
