Job Description
Role Summary
We are hiring a full-time Legal Associate in New York to support contract execution, legal operations, and day-to-day legal matters across brand partnerships, vendors, creators/influencers, and production. This role will keep our legal documentation organized, support the deal workflow end-to-end, and assist with issue intake and management (e.g., disputes, claims, collections) in coordination with leadership and outside counsel when needed. This is an execution- and operations-heavy role: you will own processes, templates, and contract lifecycle tracking, and escalate complex matters to leadership/outside counsel.

- e.Ensure alignment and consistency across deal documents (SOW/brief/invoice) for key commercial terms including scope of work, timelines, acceptance/review steps, and payment structur

- onPartner with Partnerships, Production, Finance, and Operations to align contract terms with deliverables, usage rights, timelines, payment schedules, invoicing requirements, and internal approval

- rkTrack and validate usage terms (platforms, territory, duration), exclusivity/non-compete restrictions, whitelisting/paid usage basics, and content permissions; flag risks early and propose solution

- onSupport intake, documentation, and initial assessment of legal issues such as disputes, claims, cease-and-desist notices, payment disputes, and other matters; coordinate information gathering and timelines, and liaise with outside counsel and internal stakeholder
