Job Description
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop element-driven monologues using multiple editorial sources.
- Produce correspondent and guest segments from concept through execution.
- Build element-driven content using video and graphics.
- Write banners with strong attention to detail.
- Be able to assist line producing live broadcasts using ENPS.
- Manage rundowns and segment timing.
- Support live control room execution.
- Coordinate with anchors, editors, and graphics teams.
- Contribute editorial ideas and research.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- 5+ years in TV news production.
- Experience producing live television news broadcasts.
- Segment production, control room and line producing experience needed.
- Experience working in ENPS or similar newsroom systems.
- Strong editorial judgment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Professional and collaborative approach.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to think critically and creatively under pressure.
- Comfortable juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in our New York City office.
- Ability to work varying shifts, including nights, overnights, holidays, and weekends.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
