Job Description

About Big Shot Pictures

Big Shot Pictures is a next generation animation company founded by Brian Robbins that produces the franchises of tomorrow. With a distinctive digital-first approach, the company builds global animation franchises across all platforms – from digital to theatrical, gaming to streaming, and consumer products to experiences. Big Shot has a first-look theatrical distribution deal with Sony Pictures Entertainment and is backed by strategic investment from Greycroft, Sony Pictures, MarcyPen Capital Partners, ValueAct Capital, and CAA.

About the Role

Big Shot Pictures is looking for a Product Coordinator to help shape and build our internal products, workflows, and systems. You'll work closely with the Director of Product and Operations to understand how our teams work — what they need, what slows them down, what they'd never think to ask for — and then design and roll out the systems that make their work better.

You'll spend most of your time building and documenting tools, workflows, and processes — and then training teammates and getting them genuinely bought in. That means sitting with people, understanding how they work, and making sure what you build actually gets used.

The ideal candidate sees how the pieces connect, and can hold the big picture without losing the details. An engineering background is not required, but you should be comfortable enough with technology to prototype ideas on your own, navigate a conversation with a developer, or use tools like Claude Code to test something before it goes to a team.

What You'll Do

Discovery & Workflow Understanding

  • Work with teams across creative, production, business operations, and more to understand how work actually gets done
  • Identify friction points, gaps, and opportunities — often before teammates can articulate them
  • Translate messy, real-world workflows into clear requirements that can be acted on

Building & System Administration

  • Design and build solutions in Airtable (bases, automations, interfaces, scripting, AI fields) and other low-code tools
  • Independently prototype and test ideas utilizing the latest coding tools before looping in engineering resources
  • Assist in designing matrixed workflows and processes across departments
  • Maintain and expand our internal systems as the company grows and needs evolve

Rollout, Training & Evangelism

  • Own adoption — not just deployment. Write clear documentation, run training sessions, and stay close to teams after launch to make sure things stick
  • Be the person who makes new tools feel approachable, not intimidating
  • Adjust and iterate based on real feedback from real users

Tech & AI Adoption

  • Research and evaluate new tools
  • Partner with technical teammates and external developers to integrate new capabilities into existing pipelines
  • Help translate between what the business needs and what's technically feasible

What We're Looking For

Core Requirements

  • Early career welcome — 1–3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience building within Airtable
  • Comfortable with low-code platforms, AI coding assistants, or scripting basics — enough to prototype solutions independently
  • Able to hold your own in a conversation with an engineer, even if you don't write production code
  • Strong documentation habits — you build things so others can understand, use, and maintain them
  • Track record of driving adoption, not just delivery — training teammates, following through post-launch, and getting people genuinely bought in

You should be comfortable working in ambiguity, bringing structure where there isn't any, and knowing when to keep iterating versus when to ship. You can zoom out to see how a system fits into the broader operation, then zoom back in on the detail that matters.

Bonus Points

  • In-depth experience as an Airtable builder (scripting, custom interfaces, AI integrations)
  • Experience applying AI tools to real workflows
  • Exposure to media, content, or production environments
  • Google Workspace administration or Apps Script experience
  • Software engineering background

Why This Role

You'll have real ownership of the internal systems that make this company run. You'll work across every team, see the full picture of how a media company operates, and have the latitude to build things that actually matter to the people using them.
