Position Overview:

We are seeking a creative, strategic, and detail-oriented Senior Manager, YouTube. This person will lead YouTube strategy and execution across Hybe America's artist and catalog repertoire, driving growth, visibility, and fan engagement. This role is responsible for channel management, content optimization, audience development, and editorial pitching—serving as the go-to expert for all things YouTube. Through strong collaboration with internal teams, artist partners, and YouTube’s editorial team, this person will turn data insights, trends, and platform innovations into impactful campaigns that elevate HYBE artists across one of the world’s most influential platforms.

This is a full-time, hybrid role based in our Nashville, TN office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for securing and maximizing YouTube editorial placements for the label’s music videos, albums, and artist content.
• Work closely with editorial teams to pitch new releases, curate exclusive content, and ensure high-profile placements.
• Oversee the optimization of video metadata, tags, titles, descriptions, and thumbnails to improve discoverability and increase the chances of editorial features.
• Drive the creation and maintenance of playlist strategies for both global and regional markets,ensuring label content is consistently featured in high-traffic editorial playlists.
• Partner with data analytics team and use analytics and data tools to track the performance of placements, monitor key metrics (streams, watch time, engagement), and provide actionable insights to marketing and A&R teams.
• Manage strategic partnerships between YouTube Music and artist teams to drive alignment and collaboration
• Lead audience growth initiatives and oversee channel development to expand reach and engagement
• Execute and manage livestreams, leveraging the full suite of YouTube platform features
• Coordinate and secure both on-platform and off-platform support from YouTube Music
• Ensure adherence to YouTube’s content policies, rights management standards, and monetization best practices
• Collaborate with marketing and artist teams to align YouTube content strategies with broader release campaigns.
• Serve as the key YouTube expert for artists, managers, and internal teams, providing strategic guidance and support
• Stay updated on the latest features and trends on YouTube, including YouTube Shorts, YouTube Music, and live streaming, and incorporate them into the label’s editorial strategy.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with YouTube required.
• YouTube channel management experience, ideally in the music industry.
• Deep understanding of YouTube best practices, content strategies, and algorithmic optimization.
• Experience with platform tools or basic API integrations preferred.
• Comfortable building relationships with the accounts, clients, artist managers and internal teams.
• Previous experience working directly with artists, artist management teams, and internal label teams preferred
• Comfortable leveraging AI.
• Must be organized, have strong attention to detail and goal minded.
