Role Overview

We’re looking for a Social Media / AI Specialist Intern who sits at the intersection of culture and technology. This role is for someone who understands how content moves online and knows how to leverage AI tools to create faster, smarter, and more engaging content.

You’ll play a key role in shaping OpenWav’s voice across platforms while experimenting with cutting-edge AI workflows to scale content and storytelling.

What You’ll Do

Create and manage short-form content across platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Twitter/X)

Identify and execute on emerging social media trends in music, tech, and internet culture

Use AI tools (Claude, OpenClaw, ChatGPT, Midjourney, Runway, etc.) to generate content ideas, visuals, and workflows

Assist in developing viral campaigns and growth strategies

Capture content in-person at sessions, events, and artist activations

Analyze performance metrics and iterate on content strategy

Collaborate with the team to build OpenWav’s brand and narrative

Who You Are

Based in Los Angeles and available for in-person work

Preferably have access to a vehicle for local shoots, sessions, and events

Deeply tapped into internet culture and social media trends

Comfortable using AI tools for content creation and ideation

Passionate about music, artists, and the future of music tech

Strong creative instincts with an eye for what performs

Self-starter who can move quickly and test ideas independently

Bonus: Experience editing videos (CapCut, Premiere, etc.)
