Job Description

An exciting new sports business interview show is looking for a part-time Social Media Intern to join the team at the ground level.

Backed by an active national on-air broadcaster and an established sports business creator/media company, the show will feature founders, innovative companies, industry leaders, and emerging trends across one of the world’s fastest-transforming industries: sports.

With multiple sponsorships secured ahead of launch, the project is positioned for meaningful growth and offers a unique opportunity to join a hardworking team during the earliest stages of a high-upside sports media venture.

The Role

We’ll be shooting our pilot episodes throughout September, October, and November 2026, and we’re looking for someone who can help turn those conversations into engaging social content.

You’ll help create and cut down clips for the show’s social channels, including:

  • YouTube
  • Instagram
  • TikTok

This is a hands-on opportunity to build your portfolio, work directly with an emerging sports media brand, and learn what makes interview content perform across social platforms.

The role begins with an initial one-month unpaid, part-time commitment, with the opportunity to extend into a paid part-time position.

If you’re looking to build your sports media content portfolio and want to help grow a brand-new interview show from the ground up, we want to hear from you.

Role Requirements

  • Availability of 4–8 hours per week to complete requested edits, cutdowns, and social content.
  • Demonstrated social media video editing skills, with examples or a reel to share.
  • Experience with interview-style content is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to take feedback, collaborate closely, and turn around edits reliably.

Qualifications

  • Experience editing clips for sports media, interviews, podcasts, or social video is preferred.
  • A strong interest in sports media, sports business, live interview-style shows, or some combination of the three.
  • A collaborative mindset. We want someone who is just as excited to incorporate feedback as they are to bring new ideas to the table.
  • An instinct for what makes a compelling social cutdown. Don’t have professional experience yet? That’s okay. Take an interview you find on YouTube, cut it into a few compelling social clips, and send them to us. If you have an eye for what works on social, we want to see it!
  • Familiarity with clipping tools and the broader social video/clipping landscape is a huge plus, but not required.
  • Most importantly, you should be excited to help grow a new, well-supported sports media venture from the ground up.
