Job Description
Potential for 3 candidates who will be responsible for a specifice sector and directly delivering sales of sponsorship and exhibition space for the event running in October in Miami. You must have senior relationships in one or more of our key segments which are
- Content production and storytelling – Studios; e.g. NBCUniversal, Disney, Paramount, Warner Bros. Discovery, Leading production groups: Fremantle, Banijay, All3Media, Talent agencies and creator studios: UTA, Dhar Mann Studios, Shopify Creator Commerce. AI;Luma AI, Synthesia, Runway ML, Descript.
- Platforms and Networks such as Netflix, Apple, YouTube, Amazon, Google, DAZN, TikTok, Pluto TV, Peacock
- Devices and Hardware from lense to screen including organisations such as SONY, Cannon, ARRI, Samsung, LG, Panasonic, Black Magic Design, Roku, Seagate, Zeiss
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end sponsorship and exhibitor sales for the Content Production sector from first outreach to signed contract
- Develop and pitch bespoke sponsorship packages (Platinum, Gold, Silver) aligned to each prospect’s commercial objectives
- Run a parallel exhibition sales process — identifying, pitching and closing stand holders across the sector’s exhibitor pool
- Build and manage a pipeline of 50+ prospects, prioritising the highest-value sponsorship opportunities while maintaining exhibition volume
- Work collaboratively with the wider sales team across all seven Jupiter sectors to share intelligence and avoid conflicts
- Represent Jupiter at industry events and in market conversations — you are the face of the festival for this sector
- Feed intelligence back into the commercial strategy: what’s landing, what needs repositioning, what we’re missing
- Work and support the existing team
20 curated sponsor targets with packages at Platinum, Gold and Silver tier. Deals typically range from $25,000 to $150,000+. Includes branding, speaking slots, hospitality and exhibition presence.
30+ exhibitor prospects Exhibition floor stands. Typically $5,000–25,000 per stand. Higher volume, faster sales cycle.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of sponsorship, partnership or B2B sales experience within the sector
- Proven ability to sell across both sponsorship and exhibition — comfortable with the longer-cycle partnership conversation and the higher-volume stand sales process
- An existing network within the sector — you should recognise names on our target list and have contacts and relationships in these target clients
- A track record of independently closing deals of $25,000 and above, ideally in a festival, conference or live event context
- Ability to build relationships at CMO, VP Partnerships and Head of Sponsorship level without hand-holding
- Comfortable working remotely as part of a distributed, fast-moving team ahead of a fixed event date
- Hunger: this is an uncapped commission structure and the sector has significant upside for someone who moves quickly
