Big Shot Pictures is a next generation animation company founded by Brian Robbins that produces the franchises of tomorrow. With a distinctive digital-first approach, the company builds global animation franchises across all platforms – from digital to theatrical, gaming to streaming, and consumer products to experiences. The Role
The YouTube Content Associate is a hands-on, detail-driven operator responsible for editing, packaging, and publishing content across our kids and family YouTube channels. You'll work with an existing catalog of animation content — repurposing, optimizing, and scheduling videos — while helping refine our YouTube presence through smart metadata, thumbnails, and channel management.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing & Publishing
- Edit and repurpose video content using Adobe Premiere Pro
- Upload and optimize videos in YouTube Studio or internal tools — titles, tags, descriptions, playlists, scheduling
- Manage livestreams across the YouTube network
- Ensure all content follows brand tone and family-safe guidelines
Thumbnails & Channel Assets
- Create clean, clickable thumbnails using Photoshop, Canva, or similar tools
- Maintain consistent visual identity across multiple channels
Metadata & Organization
- Maintain accurate and consistent metadata, tags, and playlists across channels
- Follow naming, export, and organizational conventions
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on YouTube experience — editing and channel management, not just posting
- Working proficiency in Premiere Pro and YouTube Studio
- Creative eye for pacing, visuals, and titles that perform
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently without sacrificing quality
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Clear communicator with reliable time management
- College degree not required — skill, experience, and reliability matter most
Nice to Haves
- Experience with kids/family or animation content
- Familiarity with AI-assisted tools across the content workflow
- Experience with Airtable or similar project management tools (e.g. Monday, Notion)
- Comfort using Canva or Photoshop
- Basic understanding of performance-driven content (e.g. CTR, retention, A/B testing thumbnails)
What We Offer
- Remote-friendly, flexible schedule
- Collaborative, creative environment focused on building franchise IP through YouTube
- Opportunity for long-term, full-time growth as channels scale
