The Performance Marketing Sales team is part of Disney Advertising. We are seeking an accomplished, highly motivated sales executive with proven success in the Digital and Linear Landscape.
Job Summary:
Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
- Build on the strengths of the Disney portfolio of product offerings to close new business while renewing and up-selling existing clients to maximize revenue
- Prepare proposals and respond to RFP’s with a high degree of professionalism, quality and in a timely manner
- Establish and foster working relationships with key decision makers on both client and agency level with a focus on the Direct to Consumer and Emerging brands.
- Coordinate with the Programmatic, Category Teams, and Agency teams to close digital and linear performance revenue
- Work with Disney Ad Sales Operations, Marketing, Research, and Revenue Yield Management to ensure that client’s needs are being met
- Negotiate pricing, advertising placement, content and event concepts
- Develop sales strategies and sales plans for assigned accounts
- Create and deliver powerful and persuasive presentations to clients
- Prospect, identify and qualify new clients for our various portfolios
- Stay current on video advertising trends and innovations
Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:
- 4+ years of relevant experience
Proven strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and translate it into specific and measurable tactics, actions, and outcomes
Highly skilled in negotiating and selling the intrinsic value of a premium offering to customers, not just the program or price
Problem solver with the ability to collaborate and work across functions
Prospecting and cold calling skills necessary
Understanding of how our clients set priorities and performance goals, and how we can align our product portfolio to best fulfill those needs
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to multi-task, make decisions and manage at entrepreneurial speed
Strong, confident presentation skills

The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, CA is $103,400 - $126,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
