Role: Assistant, Sales Americas

Compensation: Base ($47,000-$52,000 range) + Overtime ($8,000-$9,750) + Performance-Based Bonus (up to $3,000)


Role Summary:

At FIFTH SEASON, we're revolutionizing the entertainment industry with groundbreaking content that captivates global audiences. As a dynamic studio with soul, we're seeking a talented Sales Assistant to join our TV Distribution division in Los Angeles.

In this exciting role, you'll be at the heart of our Americas sales operation, providing crucial support to senior leadership while gaining invaluable industry experience. You'll contribute directly to our success through sales support, client communication, meeting preparation, market research, and administrative excellence. Role Responsibilities:

Sales Support

  • Drive sales momentum in the Americas region by managing vital communication channels between internal teams and external clients
  • Partner with the sales team to ensure seamless deal processing, including preparation and distribution of contracts, invoices, and essential documentation
  • Proactively monitor deal progress, identifying potential roadblocks and collaborating with stakeholders to implement effective solutions

Client Communication and Meeting Preparation

  • Create compelling client reports using sales data and market insights to strengthen relationships and support strategic decision-making
  • Develop polished presentation materials that showcase our content portfolio and align with our brand identity
  • Research client preferences and market trends to help sales executives tailor their approach and maximize opportunities
  • Ensure sales executives are thoroughly prepared for client interactions by providing comprehensive briefing materials and logistical support
  • Participate in client meetings, capturing detailed notes and managing follow-up actions to ensure exceptional client experiences

Market Support and Research

  • Coordinate schedules for high-profile industry events like MIPCOM, ensuring our team maximizes networking and sales opportunities
  • Conduct insightful market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities, providing valuable intelligence to inform sales strategies
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to execute impactful promotional activities during key industry events

Administrative Support

  • Provide exceptional administrative support to the SVP, including calendar management, expense processing, and travel arrangements
  • Support additional Americas sales executives as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a collaborative spirit
  • Contribute innovative ideas for improving departmental efficiency and effectiveness
  • Take ownership of special projects with enthusiasm, delivering high-quality results through resourcefulness and attention to detail

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in media/entertainment, with demonstrated client communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with meticulous attention to detail
  • Exceptional interpersonal abilities with confidence interacting with senior management
  • Outstanding organizational, communication, and analytical capabilities
  • Knowledge of TV industry and content licensing fundamentals
  • Genuine passion for entertainment and ambition to grow within the industry

Preferred:

  • Experience in entertainment sales, distribution, or acquisitions
